If your reports show unknown points this means the system does not know where they are. You would need to rename these points to the correct location by following these steps.

• Download your baton to empty it
• On a piece of paper write down your site name
• Walk around your site clocking all the points
• When you clock a point write down on the paper the point name
• Download the baton on your computer
• Take a look at the automatically generated report
• You can now know what each point is really called as all the points in both lists are in the same order
• In the software click on Checkpoints
• You will see all the unknown points here
• Click on each point and in the box below you can rename the point to the correct name
• Any reports you now generate will have the correct point name
